DC Zine Library and Reading RoomDC Zine Library and Reading Room 4621 43rd Pl NW We finally got our shit together and opened the library. But where were the kids? We knew when we started this thing that it would take a bit to get things really moving; but to have no interest on the day we opened: that's a pretty fucking discouraging. So this is a call to arms. We need you to show your support, whether it means dropping by or giving us a call, this is what we're riding on for now. Perhaps the library isn't open at the right time for you: well, let us know when is. We are definitely willing to adjust ourselves if it means making this work. If and when things pick up we'll be able to set more solid hours and hopefully have other people involved taking shifts running the library. All this is based on what happens in the enar future. Please let us know if you can flyer for us. The best help anyone can offer is spreading the word. It's so central to the library working out, and so incredibly hard for 2 people to manage by themselves. We're also involved in setting up shows, hopefully many of which will be library benefits. If you see a flyer for a show at American University, please don't be shy about coming. Give support, We'll both be there, Caroline is usually working the door.
