Anti-Capitalist Convergence-DC statement on A20 Protests

The DC ACC supports the mobilizations this April against the World Bank and International Monetary Fund and against the US war on terrorism, and in solidarity with the people of Colombia and Palestine.

Though the ACC has decided not to organize, as a group, for these protests we do support them and plan to march in the protests on Sat the 20th as an anti-capitalist group (details coming soon). We encourage any anti-capitalists coming to DC to march with us (though we would like to stress that we are not organizing these marches and cannot provide tactical or strategic support for actions). We further heartily support autonomous actions by affinity groups coming to DC!

If you are not coming to DC we encourage you to do solidarity actions in your community to demonstrate people's broad resistance and organization.
