From the Udder was released in both LP and Compact Disc format. The CD contains quite a bit more music, including older cuts from various Big Butter releases.

From The Udder is Big Butter's second 12" LP release, the other being Step In And Do A Certain Something. Big Butter's musical style changed little from their first releases, and the quality of their packaging was unique and well done as with all their releases.
