Bob Seedorf shares his experiences in WWII

Robert Seedorf was my friend Eric's father. He served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He set some of his memories down on paper, and these have been scanned and reproduced here.

It is with sadness that I must report Bob's recent passing. My most sincere condolensces go out to his family and friends. Bob was glad that his stories made it to the internet, and was always encouraged by the fact that so many strangers read and are interested in his experiences during a trying and interesting time in United States history.

Robert Richard Louis Seedorf, May 6, 1922 - January 22, 1999. Rest in Peace.
