BIOGRAPHY: [John] married first, presumably before the birth of their first child in 1777, Mary. A manuscript written by an unidentified source in the 1930's says that John married in Bucks County, 2 June 1777, Mary Lloyd, and that "J. Ross Bradfield of Dallas has the marriage certificate." If true, this would place the marriage just over two months before the birth of their first son.
