From the notes of John Stockman:
A "babe in arms" at the time he was taken aboard ship by his parents in 1701 & brought to the British North American colonies, Andrew grew to manhood & married Miss. Crow, the daughter of his employer. She may have died and Andrew may have taken a second wife, for his son James "seems to have been a half-brother of the others." In about 1750 Andrew and his brother Thomas left New Jersey with their families to seek land on the frontier. After pausing for a time in Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania, the Linns went on to Ford Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland, probably intending to await a favorable time to continue moving west, but remained there 18 years.
By 1768, Andrew and his sons Andrew, William, James and Benjamin were living in the Monongahela Valley in Cumberland (later Bedford) County in south-central Pennsylvania. By 1769, Nathan had come there from Frederick Co., Maryland, to live near his family. When, during the period 1775 to 1784, Andrew and his sons removed to Kentucky, his son Andrew remained in south-central Pennsylvania, where, by the time of his death in 1790, he had become one of the largest landowners in Fayette Co. and lead the life of a prosperous farmer.
In his old age, Andrew wnet to live at the home of his son James on the Green River in Green County, Kentucky. It was there that Andrew died in 1800 at the age of 100 years.

From Eileen Margerum:
Henry Margerum mentions his wife Jane and her children in his will, dated 3 May 1727, and recorded in Bucks Co., PA. Will Book 1, p. 102. "IMPRIMUS I give and Bequeath unto my wife Jane & my eldest Son Richd. Margerum whom I make ordain & constitute to be my Executrix & Executor of this my Last Will & Testament all that Messuage Farm & Plantation whereon I now Dwell jointly to be possed & enjoyed for & during the natural life of my wife Jane that is to Say my wife Jane shall have the New & West end of my house to Dwell in during her life & equall half part of all the increase & sheep & Horsekind & Produce of all kinds of the said Premisses for her own proper use & Disposal during her life... "Fifthly I give & Bequeath unto my Wifes Daughter Margaret Yeats & her Husband Joseph & her Children John Robert & Margt. Pearson & Jane & Joseph Yeats & also my friend Wm. Rigg six chill. apiece".
Margerum's will was proved the same year, so we see that Jane was once again a widow until her death 13 years later. The following is a transcript from a photocopy of the will of Jane Margerum, recorded in Bucks Co., PA., Will Book 2, P. 9: "IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. This third Day of October Anno Dom. 1738 I Jane Margerum of Maxfield in the County of Bucks in the Province of Pensilvania Widow being in Perfect Mind and Memory and considering the uncertainty of this Life do make ordain and constitute this my Last Will and Testament to be fullfilled and performed in Manner and 3 May 1727 at Bucks County, Pa."
