BROKEN
It’s been falling apart for years
Slowly crumbling down
Piece by piece
Falling to the ground
Broken promises and lies
The hatred is in my eyes
People scream and tempers flare
There’s a thickness in the air
Pieces of our lives broken and destroyed
Lost and gone forever
Not much left to hold us up
Soon there will be nothing left
A pile of broken pieces
Lives lost among the rubble
However did we get caught up in all this trouble?
