The IWW is most definetly anarcho-syndicalist. While it is apolitical it still maintains the idea that it " believe[s] the problems of the working class can not be solved by begging crumbs from employers or praying to politicians for favors. While it fights for better conditions today, the IWW insists that working people are entitled to everything they produce, instead of a meager share."

just look through there faq http://www.iww.org/culture/official/qanda.shtml
(as if the colour of the page didn't give it away)

IWW syndicalists

the IWW isn't an ANARCHO-Syndicalist union. It's an 'apolitical' syndicalist union.

That said, I don't have a problem with it being on the anarcho-syndicalist page as the only anarcho-sindicalist organization in North America is the Workers Solidarity Alliance, which I don't think is affiliated to the AIT-IWA either.

The WSA isn't an anarcho-syndicalist union, it's a small propaganda group.
Same goes for the Anarcho-Syndicalist Review that's published out of Boston by Jon Beken (sp?) who's also the editor for the IWW's Industrial Worker newspaper.

I do think there's a lot of anarcho-syndicalists in the IWW, and if I was a anarcho-syndicalist I would consider the IWW a prefered organization to organize in than the WSA or being fully isolated.

The absence of a syndicalist union that's a real alternative (niether the WSA or IWW have enough strength to be real alternative to the trade unions), is one reason that I went from anarcho-syndicalism to 'platformist' anarchist-communism.
