one of my homeboys showed me how to do this thing we call "chaching"ing. if you look inside the part where the coke comes out, you'll see the metal box where they keep the quarters. except the box isn't fully enclosed, you see, so the quarters are nicely accessible using a coathanger. the rest follows logically.

anyway i shall make a general thread about the results of opening the machines using a ballpoint. i intend to do that within the next couple weeks.

ABG, PM me, too, if you don't feel like posting your results here. I'm skeptical, to be honest (I'd think that the bike locks, though they're similar keys, they're cheaply made, too).

I used to have one of those keys for a vending machine. It fit in a lot of vending machines. I used to go to this really out of place coke machine at a college I attended, and sneak a coke or two. It was like out in the middle of a parking lot, it was very weirdly placed. I probably stole a few hundred dollars worth of coke (50 cents a pop) before they moved it. Surprised they didn't catch me, though. But due to its placement, no one could get within 100 yards without me being able to see 'em.

actually i haven't tried it yet, but in all honesty i do intend to. i told some homeys about this little exploit and they also seemed very interested in it, so i'll probably get one of them to take me arround town one of these nights collecting money from the machines.

Good, good man. If you don't post it here, pm me. But, I know of a way to get those machines to cough up cash, but it's a little more "barbaric" (for lack of a better word): THese people backed up a pick up truck to a machine at a texaco, close to my house, let down the tail gate, tipped the macine over onto the back of the truck, slid it in a little, drove the machine onto the other side of the store, away from cameras, and broke the machine open. sounds like a lot of work, but it works, I suppose.

have you ever seen a coke delivery truck go to a vending machine, open it up, take all the money and then refill the sodas? thats because the coke company is selling those sodas and giving a portion of the money to businesses which own the ground on which they get sold.
