Pardon me, but I'm getting jumped. My favorite image forum has gone completely white-power. It used to be that only some members would post the usual racist propaganda and I mistook it for a free-thinking forum. I was one of only a few sticking up for, e.g., Af-Ams, Jews, Transsexuals but it seemed like anybody could express their opinion. Sadly, no. Now there is a big swastika on the lead banner of the website and I have become the prime target for hostility.
One of the people I am up against sent me a virus or something that destroyed my Mac and opened my yahoo account so that details of my family's e-mails were posted. I know nobody knows me, but I am getting my ass handed to me, here.
The information these guys have on me is correct, but they can't (yet) get anything else on me. I could just leave---but that's not really very brave, is it? If I let some pseudo-fascists dominate the forum and chase me away, they win the ideological battle. That would mean that the Enlightened were frightened away again because they couldn't defend themselves. And if nobody helps that means that the Enlightened don't look out for each other.
So who has the stones? Any hackers want to mix it up for our brothers and sisters? We'd be sticking up for people who are mostly not even on this forum, let alone on the Internet: the poor, the uneducated, the unorganized people of color. If you don't have the guts to help me out just ignore this and these guys will crucify me like they do everybody else they can cut out from the herd, and maybe my family, too.
But if you think that is bullshit then call somebody and save me because I got into this for free, expectiung no pay or glory or even recognition. Look out for your own! I stuck up for religious tolerance and racial equality and my allies disappeared and some anonymous neo-nazis are ruining my life. Come occupy this forum and don't run away. Find a way to hit these guys back. Pick apart their smug supremacy and their cruel caricatures. Show them how small and sad primitive tribalism is. We can win this one: no cops, no mace, no batons; just an intellectual brawl.

Even if you had a reason to bother Anonymous, How could you? Since their one strength that they have over the Church of Scientology is that they don't have a leader that the "Church" can actually attack, and deface.

Yeah, the best advice I can give at this point is to just leave Anonymous alone. They do a great job in handling the Cult of Scientology.

akalove, only thing you can do is just wait it out. Anonymous has a very short attention span, and most of their garbage postings are intended to incite you, which it seems like they did. Don't ever "go after them" because it invites them to attack you personally, since they are just like you in many ways and by going after them they feel quite insecure.
