Le Fou

Postby Yarrow » Wed Jul 08, 2009 6:29 am

Sparkling with dew, the sweat of the stars
and everyone i see has a sign from the messengers
duty is a joy of life, and an expression of who i am
can't keep away from what you are
dive between the duvet and the divan
she said...

put down your stick, le fou, and follow me
to a woodland with the clearest waters
in the pool relax and close your eyes
feel the sunlight with your naked heart
with your naked heart

laugh it out longtime, and lap it up
with your toil done for the day you can crash out in the sun
got a love of life and laughter, food and drink
wrestling, and lovemaking
sparkling with dew, the sweat of the stars
everything i see tells me i don't want to be a passenger
here's to the messengers

put down your stick, le fou, and follow me
to a woodland with the clearest waters
in the pool, relax and close your eyes
feel the sunlight with your naked heart
on your naked heart.

god has all blood on his hands
on a sunny day
now and forever
your life can stop

and you will be gone
and i will cry
over all things we'll never do

and friends will say 'hmm'
and we'll do what we always do
until we leave
but no more

i'm changing the future
with love
so you must know
how you colour my earth

we are time machines
travel through the heart
and smile
because i am now.
