And thats why im becoming a history teacher. FUCK! :(
How long do you think we can have a free and democratic society if we insist on maintaining totalitarian systems in our companies? We must have freedom for individuals and organizations to grow and to realize their potentials.

Indoctrinating vulnerable children trapped in a child jail makes you happy? You must be mentally sick. All teachers are sick.

My friend from Naked Aggression is a teacher, so I wouldn't talk if I were you.

take it out of context why don't you. I was saying I'd have a low paying job. Thus the fuck at the end.

And you get pleasure from voluntary human extinction for that matter?

Australian schools seem a hell of alot better than American ones, I realize they still have huge problems, but you guys seem to have a really fucked up system.

Plus I was thinking of working at a free or community skool

If he's a teacher in a public or private school, then he is sick. Have you not realized that yet? Or are you just refraining from thinking about it because he is your friend?

Teachers themselves aren't sick, most sign up for it because they think kids are cute or that they can do a better job than everyone else. They don't realise that they have to teach set curricula. It's not teachers you have to blame it's the board of education(I'm not sure if that's what America calls it though.)

First of all, they went to school themselves, so they know what it's like. Secondly, you seriously think that after years of training they still don't realize what their job is? I had a friend who went through the whole training, and believe me, by the time you're done, YOU KNOW.

You mean "she"? Her name's Kirsten.

How can you call Kirsten sick? She teaches kids in junior high school for crying out loud and they're the types who would go to her shows. Besides she's a member of a teacher's union.

Uh, how does being in the union make her job in a child jail any less sick?

I honestly don't know.

How is school a child jail in the first place? At least the kids get to go home after their routine over there.

Yea, but I didn't say it was exactly the same thing. The main goal of this jail is not to keep you in one place, that's only a secondary purpose (as parents don't want to have to deal with their children more than they have to).

And whether they are free at home is highly variable.

Okay.

Maybe she's a teacher so that she can inspire kids to think for themselves.

I want to be a history teacher because:

1) I like history
2) My history teachers were/are awesome like-minded people
3) Being a historian would suck
