I think we must be define the terms education and educated to really have the proper discussion. Are you thinking of education in the modern way which is simply the ability to learn and memorize facts and trivia or are you referring to education in other terms? It seems to me that we must be consciously aware that we don’t let our education lead us away from humility and into arrogance. I have experienced this personally, as well as with religious Christian scholars who seem to be able to argue any esoteric topic cheap essays by citing bible verse. Reciting words while not truly understanding them will only serve to educate the ego who loves to make points and regurgitate passages in an attempt to display superior knowledge.
