A lot of ancaps actually like to claim it as an example of anarcho-capitalism. :?

Some do, though the saner ones say that its a horrible place but compared to the right benchmark (other war torn third world countries) its actually an improvement.
The Anarchists are simply unterrified Jeffersonian Democrats. They believe that 'the best government is that which governs least,' and that which governs least is no government at all.

It is, but no more than it being used an example by statists. As a practical experiment there couldnt be worse test conditions so in that sense i suppose it works as a worse case scenario for anarchists but i think there's enough distorting factors there for it to provide very little viable data about how an anarchy would work (from either perspective).

Im guessing the phrase "can you lend me a hand?" took on a completely :lol: new meaning.
