This post has a lot of merit between the insults. How can anyone who supports taxes, or any kind of laws be an anarchist? Taxes and laws require enforcement, enforcement at any level (save shunning, which I haven't seen put forward here) requires a governing body and hence rulers.

If a person is charged with committing crimes against humanity, then how could they deserve something less then death? You say Rehabilitation is the answer, well in an anarchist society, who's going to fund the rehabilitation. Not the tax payer, for there are no taxes.

If someone has already commited a serious crime like mass murder what will killing them do except leave you with one more dead body on your hands. I'm with gandhi on this one "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind"

First let's clarify something, where would you personally draw the line at using capital punishment? how many dead would you say constitutes capital punishment? would you hand out capital punishment for crimes such as rape even if no-one was killed?

IMHO, since rape is a crime that can never be done accidentally, is always done with the opposition of the victim, and rapists and paedophiles have been shown they can't be rehabilitated. Once you commit rape, you give up your right to life.
