Is Social Anarchism anti-men?

That seems to be the vibe I'm getting. A lot of talk about 'patriarchy', and I agree that the phenomenon does exist. But in my opinion it's not the product of 'masculinism' or strong men but actually weak men who feel the need to oppress women due to a feeling of inadequacy and actually a fear of women. In my opinion it's weak, insecure men who are responsible for the patriarchy phenomena as opposed to mentally and emotionally strong ones. I think the inclination is the fear that if women were 'free' then they might not choose to be with those men willingly so it has to be done with force. But I think a lot of the criticism of patriarchy in anarchism and communist circles is directed towards a perception of 'masculinity' itself and sometimes even an underlying hatred for men in general. As if a society of 'self-hating men' is going to cure the ills of systematic oppression of women. Is this a rational concern/criticism in your opinions? Note that I am not stating it as a definite and am open to the idea that it's a misconception.

excellent analysis.

keep in mind that a great deal of leftist thought is bought and paid for by foundation money which is, of course, working for its own interests - that of the rich.

if you research the honest history of US feminism, you'll find that it begins with foundation money. whatever the benefits or social gains of feminism - afterall there is a real history of oppression of women - the specific ideology of feminism was fostered for a foundation-sponsored agenda:

-an increase in teh tax base resulting from more women in the workforce
-a pressure on the family structure, increasing people's reliance on the state/corporations

by emphasizing the notion of the patriarchy, all men become guilty by virtue of being men. just as the elites benefit from racial strife or regional or national strife, creating tension between men and women also created benefits.

what would truly liberate women? the same thing that would truly liberate everyone - ubiquitous abundance. and the people who are preventing ubiquitous abundance are the same ones who create foundations that fund the -isms that keep everyone at each other's throats - instead of at *their* throats.
