Anarchism stopped in its tracks?

I came into Anarchism from the Communist view of things (Was a communist before I became a Anarchist) and it seemed like the main goal for Anarchism was just to show that some people dosen't like goverment. I have seen so many people talk about how Anarchist communities will work and how great they will be but why have noone sprung up yet? There are so many Anarchists in the world that there should be alot of communities springing up all over? But are they afraid of goverment retaliation? Are they afraid to put up a fight?.

I doubt that Anarchism will get anywhere else from where it is now if we continue what we are doing now. I belive that we must make mass squatting(s) of apartment blocks, factories etc etc. That we must start to really beat at the politicians doors and say that we are still here because they are not listening to demonstrators.. They don't give a flying fuck of what you think nor what stands on your nice piece of paper there!. So.. Yeah.. To be honest I think that Anarchism is just a dream wich is never going to be a reality. Progress have stopped. I haven't seen anything about Anarchism in the news nor on the street in five years. Guess that Anarchism is just a lost cause? Guess I might as well get a education and join the system? What do you think?
