 Post subject: Opt out of capitalism?

Say you were determined to opt out of capitalism, without opting out of society. What would you do? What steps would you take? What realistic options are there?

I don't expect that it's actually possible, but maybe to a limited degree.

become self sufficient with everything from power to things you consume. Anything else you may need you can barter for. UNFORTUNATELY unless your a religious group you'll still have to pay taxes to the state. even if you don't work a job or a job under the table most states have property taxes. you wont be able to drive with insurance or a license. not a easy task :lol:
