i think it would be much more accurate to say:

marx, lenin, and trotsky all had some form of "jewish ancestry", which would be enough for nazis or zionists to consider them to be "jewish." the revolution of 1917 had a large number of people who identified themselves as jewish, or who had "jewish ancestry," in leadership positions.

Even during the revolution in Russia and after, many of the bolsheviks were anti-semitic; the same goes for the majority of the Russian population during Stalin's reign. Stalin was a pretty big anti-semite to begin with, and as far as I know, Lenin was pretty anti-semitic too. Just because someone has jewish ancestory, doesn't mean that they like being jewish; Hitler was the epitome of that example.

Exactly. In the contemporary world, people who support the liberation of palestinians, and are not islamic (in other words: people with more radical socialist ideals), are considered anti-semites simply because of the backwards logic surrounding the issue. Too many people have it in their minds that if you staunchly oppose the Israeli State, you oppose the Israeli people, and are therefore, are an anti-semite... which is obviously not true at all; it just means that you're against the oppression of the Israeli theocratic state - not that you want to descriminate against Jews.
