As was brought up earlier in this thread, I don't think that a professional artist does fit in an libertarian socialist society. I think everyone is an artist in their own right and art will continue to thrive even without a monetary reward. Art is as much part of a human as the spleen is. You can live without it, but who would want to? Coincidentally, I don't have my spleen, but I do produce art.

How did you lose your spleen?


When I was eleven I got hit by a baseball in the ribs and it scissored my spleen in half, so I had it removed.
