Your point was that if you collect food for a week, it's not hoarding. But that's irrelevant. Saving for retirement involves orders of magnitude more resources than food for a week.

Yea, it doesn't seem like you guys have any answers. Communism is too abstract.

I think the answers were pretty good. To put it simply, if your accumulation of stuff isn't bothering people or causing problems, than it's probably fine, if it is, then it probably isn't fine.

i hate to be pedantic, but an idea can't really 'be' communist, although it can of course be favoured by them. this might seem academic, but there's no problem i can see with using ideas previously thought of.
