Feeling pleasure and avoiding pain and death are not games. Everything else is a game.
Being friendly and kind to other people is the most fun game.

The answer to your question is that avoiding pain and death is not a game.
There are all kinds of reasons for caring for each other as you have discovered. A pleasureable game is one of them. The other reasons are to avoid pain and death.
If that is a game, then it is one to trick and control other people. Or to play along with other peoples tricks which often derive from insecurity and fear probably.
