MA thesis on British anarchism 60-90 - help needed

Postby frantik » Mon Jun 29, 2009 9:24 am

My name is Paul and I am writing an MA thesis on British Anarchism from 1960 to 1990. Right now I am at the stage of researching.

I thought that some of you could help me in my work. I am looking for books, zines, films, articles etc.

I already have:
- Stuart Christie's - Granny Made Me an Anarchist
- Meltzer's - I couldn't Paint Golden Angels
- their - Floodgates of Anarchy
- Ian Bone's - Bash The RIch
- Colin Ward's - Talking Anarchy and Anarchy and State
- Benjamin Franks' Rebel Alliances
- Penny Rimbaud's biography
- few zines (Virus, Black Flag, Solidarity, Class War)
- and some articles

I am in a deep need of issues of zines from the described period, as the ones I have are mostly analytical and do not cover many events then.

I live in Poland and cannot afford travelling to UK or USA, what complicates my research seriously.

I'd be very interested to read your thesis when you're finished as I myself am from england. Unfortunately I'm too young to have anything from the period 1960-1990. But if you ever need a british perspective on anything let me know.

You picked a depressing time for the British anarchist movement...

Hippies, lifestylists, hip collegians, and primmies fill this period.
