COININTELPRO and the United States Military

Wired Magazine recently ran an article on the U.S. Defense Department's Joint Forces Staff College course which emphasized total war against all Islamic nations. The work is interesting because it includes many of material and information disseminated within the course. For instance one .pdf titled "A Counter-Jihad Op Design" suggests attacking the civilian populations of the Arab world much in the manner that the U.S. went after Germany and Japan in Dresden,, Berlin, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, the Vietnam War and arguably during our modern conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Another .pdf titled "action items for military officers" the lecturer refers to anyone who assists an Islamic American as an enemy and accomplice. They even suggest finding a local reporter who is conservative and ambitious enough to assist in any infiltration of religiously tolerant organizations, especially towards Islam. Muslims, Communists, Anarchists, Immigrants, the dreaded others, all targets for some really demented American's in positions of power.
