Anarchists!

Unassembled we are an impotent movement, but together we can rise to become a significant force against what we seek to eliminate! Together our idea can become a reality! Anarchist music and literature is far too difficult to access today, therefore its influence is severely limited. THIS ISOLATION WITHIN OUR MOVEMENT IS OUR OWN LARGEST OBSTACLE. Anti-corporate Anarchist bands lack the effective large-scale distribution of major labels, thus excluding a potentially large portion of society. But through a completely autonomous network of Anarchists, the message can reach a greater audience without submitting to corporate interests. If we want this to work, we MUST educate and agitate! we MUST expand our theory from the limits of college study and obscure groups! and we MUST do it ourselves! The Anarchist Liberty Union is a new group that seeks to unite Anarchists, Anarchist bands, labels, presses, writers, collectives, radio stations, music and book stores, clubs, squats, organizations, etc., for the purpose of sharing and distributing Anarchist propaganda and theory. THERE IS NO AUTHORITY IN THE ALU; it functions collectively as an assemblage. We don't ask for dues as traditional unions do, but we will need to hold benefit concerts and release benefit albums. To become a member, simply send in your address. You will receive free literature and hopefully free music. We intend to set up chapters in every state, so as to retain our autonomy and avoid the high cost of shipping. If you are interested in organizing a local chapter, please write us. We will send you a package including sign up sheets and stuff to hand out. We encourage any revolutionary organization that is not prejudiced and has an Anarchist philosophy to join and contribute.
