The libertarian spirit has always been an international one. From the time of Mikhail Bakunin to the time of the Spanish Civil War to the present.

This is a list of true libertarian groups and organizations around the world. While there are many right-wing groups and individuals that claim to be "Libertarian" on the Internet, most are not. But worker, student and citizen's organizations of a libertarian nature do exist, and are building contacts as time goes on. This listing is based on country, with international organizations listed at the top.
