From Dark Night, Comes New Light
By Scott Anon

A dimming red night spreads vastly throughout the skies
dark clouds plague the evening slumber
a bolt of lighting and thunderous cries
cast rain onto the dry earth
scales of dry dirt drink the cold wet shower
and from the night, awakens the warm sun
a flash of light, and out sprouts a flower
from the bones, wanders a young fawn
the fertile soil an fresh new grass
will procreate the new dawn
