The Zapatistas route into Mexico City

Zapatista Army of National Liberation. Mexico.

March 7, 2001.

To the People of Mexico: To the residents of Mexico City:
To people from other countries:
Brothers and sisters:

Our best wishes to you. I am writing to you in the name of the zapatista delegation which is participating in the March for Indigenous Dignity, the March of the Color of the Earth, in order to tell you where we are going to be entering Mexico City from on March 11, 2001. This is the route:

Prolongacio'n Division de Norte - Eje 2 Oriente (Canal de Miramontes, Calzada de la Salud, Escuela Militar, Calzada de la Viga) - Anillo de Circunvalacio'n - San Pablo - Avenida Jose' Mari'a Izazaga - 20 de Noviembre - Zo'calo.

We would like to invite you to organize in order to participate in this march, whether from the sidewalk, or from the roof, or from the window, or from the street itself, or from the balcony, or from the sewer, or from wherever.

There are thousands of us who are coming to your city, and we hope that you will join us so that, together, we can secure what can now no longer be postponed: the constitutional recognition of indigenous rights and culture.

We'll be seeing you in Mexico City then.

Vale.
Salud and few IMECAS for March 11.

>From Cuautla, Morelos.

Subcomandante Insurgente Marcos.
