European Press Coverage

April 24, 2008

Rachael has been getting quite a lot of press over in Europe and we wanted to share some of this great coverage with you!

• In Belgium they’ve recommended The Blistering Sun as a top album for 2008!

• A Dutch review site describes The Blistering Sun as indispensable to Sage fans, and deems “Featherwoman”, “93 Maidens”, and “Proof” reason enough to purchase the album.

• The album also received a Hungarian review. While our translation is a bit shady (something about cats boiling mushes, midwifery, and dramatic cooking…) we think they liked the record!

• There is a great German review Where the reviewer states; “Wow... this is one that drops your jaw and hits you right in the gut.” And praises the “stable-full” of musicians that help bring the album to life…

• Several European radio stations have been giving Rachael airplay. This Belgian station added “93 Maidens”, A UK blog posted for Mojo Dreams Blues & Roots Radio and added “Featherwoman”, A French indie music site included "Violet Or Blue" in their playlist, and RadioGirl from the Netherlands added “Calypso”.
