The campaign is urging all house holders to search for and remove these chips. The chip is located at the top left of the wheelie bin as you face it - underneath the rim. It can be removed with a screwdriver and the campaign is setting up a demonstration over the next week or so. Our information is that if the chip is removed then the bin will be emptied. Although we believe this experiment is confined to Ballyogin for the moment it may not be for long. We would urge all householders in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown are to check for chips. If you find one please report it to the campaign (lisamaher@eircom.net)
Non payment continues at a high level in DunLaoghaire and the campaign has over 1100 members. We urge householders to keep up non payment and get involved in campaigns in Dublin Corporation, Cork, Drogheda, Limerick and Dun Laoghaire.
