This is a temporary site for organizational purposes. The design and aesthetic of the site may undergo reconstruction as well. Stay tuned.

IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a great tool for chat and organization. Indymedia has an IRC server (irc.indymedia.org). The Indymedia IRC server is essential for Indymedia communication.

A good Windows IRC client is mIRC, and there's Ircle for Mac users. If all else fails, there is a Java client, just type #Sacramento in the channel field and there you go!

IMC Sac needs tech people! Indymedia is operated mostly by PHP working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and a little Perl. The Sac IMC is currently limited to HTML. A techie could help get the newswire going. Documents on this are at:
