My first duties involved performing a comprehensive hardware inventory of TRW's Oakland facility (~4000 entries). Tasks included bar code printing and design, detailed hardware evaluation, data entry and verification. After the inventory was complete I performed Jr. Sysad duties: office moves, phone support, basic troubleshooting, software installs. I ended up as the Mac Sysad, where I was responsible for ~80 users, both local and remote; as well as their dynamic gateways, remote access servers, mail servers and network printers.

I worked for the Transit department as both a Clerk and a Bus Driver (with CDL). As Clerk I was responsible for accounts payable and receivable, time sheets, the phone, federal grant applications, ADA compliance, bus pass sales, petty cash, and purchasing. As a Driver, I was responsible for a 30 passenger bus with up to 50 skiers on board, over usually snowy/icy streets and highways; as well as some charters for the Special Olympics. I also worked at the city-run ski hill as a lift operator.
